CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Roberts PolyPro, a product brand of ProMach, features its colorful, recyclable, and easy to remove can handles and handle applicators at BrewExpo America, May 1-3, at Music City Center in Nashville. (Roberts PolyPro BrewExpo America Booth # 2744)
“Utilizing advanced computer aided design technology, our team iterated dozens of possible solutions until they came up with one that was unlike any handle on the market in terms of visual appeal and ease of removal,” said Roy Tetreault, Vice President and General Manager of Roberts PolyPro.
Each ring on a four- or six-pack handle has two tabs to give consumers a comfortable lift tab. The tabs also make the rings fast and easy to apply on the packaging line, either manually or by applicator. A Roberts PolyPro MCA 10 applicator will be demonstrated at BrewExpo America.
The open top design promotes evaporation, so no moisture accumulates between the can top and handle, eliminating the ‘ick factor’ in taste or odor. Not only that, consumers can quickly attach empties to the handles for easier carrying. Handles are made from high density polyethylene (HDPE), which is one of the most widely recycled plastics. Efficient design allowed Roberts PolyPro to reduce the amount of plastic used.
The new handles, which are available in more than 30 colors, give four- and six-packs eye appeal on retail shelves. For more information call 800-269-7409 and visit www.RobertsPolyPro.com. Be sure to stop by Booth #2744 at BrewExpo America.
