Roberts PolyPro Introduces Hook-in-Bag Applicator

February 8, 2001

CHARLOTTE, NC - Roberts PolyPro, an innovative leader in packaging and converting solutions, will be exhibiting their Hook-in-Bag Applicator at the CMM show on April 23-26, 2001 at Chicago's McCormick Place Convention Center, Booth 13011. The Applicator automatically feeds, inserts and seals display hooks into a plastic web for a highly precise bag manufacturing operation.

The Hook-in-Bag Applicator is a compact machine that can easily be integrated into existing converting lines with no reduction in line speed or increase in labor cost. The simple design of the continuous-motion production system enables operators to learn and control the system very quickly.

With more manufacturers looking for creative ways to display their product, hanging bags are on the rise. Roberts PolyPro developed the hook-in-bag idea.

"Our hook-in-bag concept is a great way to display products," says Allan Sutherland, president of Roberts PolyPro. "It has many practical uses, including display and sale of sheets, pillowcases, draperies, children's wear, footwear, and specialty items."

The Hook-in-Bag Applicator is part of Roberts PolyPro standard insertion and application machinery, engineered to be used individually or combined to produce a totally integrated converting line.

Roberts PolyPro produces a comprehensive line of packaging and converting fixtures, fitments and components as well as a modular line of packaging and converting machinery.
